Welcome to Palm Coast where it's always tee time in the community with the hometown feel. Here, ten breathtaking golf courses give the avid golfer plenty to choose from, however, Palm Coast is not just about golf. Here, there is plenty for everyone including tennis, boating, kayaking, bicycling and fishing just to name a few of the outstanding outdoor recreational activities available here.
Palm Coast was developed in the late 1960’s by ITT Community Development Corporation and was incorporated as a city in December 1999. Developed in the wooded interior and wetlands of eastern Flagler County, Palm Coast has been the driving force behind the county's sustained growth.
Palm Coast is perfectly located for day trips of all kinds. Just to the south is Daytona Beach, “The World’s Most Famous Beach”, and home to NASCAR headquarters and the Ladies Professional Golf Association. Located a short distance to the northeast is historical St. Augustine, founded in 1565, it is the oldest continuously occupied European established city, and the oldest port, in the continental United States. If you have a need for the big city, Jacksonville is a short drive north. Many residents commute daily to Jacksonville to work while others save this for a good day of shopping.
With more than 70,000 residents, affordable housing and its close proximity to the coast, Palm Coast is an attractive place to live, work and play.
